The first leg at Stamford Bridge ended 3-2 to the Gunners in a thrilling cup tie that saw Arsenal go two goals ahead twice before Chelsea fought back. Ben White and Viktor Gyokeres had given Mikel Arteta's side a 2-0 lead before Alejandro Garnacho halved the deficit. Martin Zubimendi had then made it 3-1 to Arsenal in the 71st minute before Garnacho struck again with seven minutes remaining to give Chelsea a fighting chance in this second leg.

Coverage from the first round of the season, which takes place at Utilita Arena Newcastle. Last season saw Luke Humphries beat Luke Littler 11-8 in the final at the O2 in London to claim the Premier League title for the first time. Humphries had beaten Nathan Aspinall 10-7 to reach the final, while Littler beat Gerwyn Price by the same scoreline in the other semi-final to set up the showdown.

Both sides are fighting to stay in the top flight currently so three points for either side would be a massive result in their quest to retain their Premier League status. The reverse fixture back in November saw the visitors take all three points as they came from behind to beat their hosts 3-1 at the City Ground.
